The principle of operation of the radiator heat distributor is based on the registration and subsequent integration of the temperature pressure arising between the surface of the heating radiator and the air in the room. Two temperature sensors are located inside the device. One of them provides temperature data on the radiator surface, and the second registers the air temperature.

The heat distributor does not measure the absolute value of the amount of heat, but the relative value given by a separate heating device in a common system. As a result of calculations, the heat distributor outputs a dimensionless value proportional to the actual heat output of the heating device. When organizing individual accounting in the general system of general household accounting, data collected from heat distribution devices are analyzed. They correlate with the data of the general house counter. As a result, the calculation of heat costs for each consumer is carried out individually.
