Winged PULSE water meters (single-jet, dry-water) are designed to measure the volume of drinking cold water at a temperature from 5 ° C to 40 ° C and hot water at a temperature from 5 ° C to 90 ° C.The working pressure in the water supply network is not more than 1.6 MPa (16 kgf / cm3). Installation of the counter is allowed both horizontal and vertical. Water meters have highly effective protection from the effects of permanent magnets' magnetic fields. They are used for water metering in water supply systems of apartments, individual houses, offices, administrative buildings.
The principle of operation of the PULSE counter is based on counting the number of revolutions of the impeller rotating under the action of the flow of water flowing in the pipeline. At the same time , the mechanism of the meter itself has no contact with water . The rotation of the impeller is transmitted to the indicator device by means of magnetic couplings. The indicator device, through a scaling mechanical gearbox, displays the measured volume of water in cubic meters with five black rollers, red rollers and an arrow pointer — fractions of cubic meters.
